F-list: Let's talk about things that make us happy

I don't care if you feel like you're saying something you've said a million times over, tell me things that always make you happy.

Like, for instance: Flogging Molly. Flogging Molly make me happy, even when they upset me.

Empires! Empires make me so very happy. Sometimes when I'm really down, I go back and reread my show recaps from last year, because I miss it.

Right now I am surprisingly happy with Glee, though not because of tonight's episode. I am rambling about ot4s and queer poly kids and het dudebros with hector_rashbaum and that's all pretty great. But then generally, talking about queer poly kids and relationships that don't fit into neat boxes makes me happy (so do musicals).

Right now I'm listening to Pretty.Odd and most of that album always makes me smile.

hector_rashbaum made me watch the Valentine's Day episode and I then decided to watch the rest of it? I'm up to episode 11 so far. There's so much of it that annoys me (Hi, Finn and Schue first and foremost) (PUNCH THEM IN THE THROAT) (Sorry.), but it's super cute.

And awww, Pretty.Odd. ♥ I am still in my I HATE EVERYTHING FOREVER mood right now, and thus, not listening to anything.

All right thinking people want to punch Finn and Schue in the throat. I watch Glee because I am a musical theatre dork and the show appeals to that. Also, the supporting cast is fabulous.

Right now I am in an omg I love Pretty.Odd SO MUCH OMG place. I've been listening to Mona Lisa/New Perspective and the back half of Fever a lot in anticipation of the new album (it got moved up! that means it might leak sooner and we can listen to it!) so PO is a nice change. I have weird associations with PO, so for a change, it's making me want to write happy dreamy whimsical stuff (this is probably due to my general mood) and I'm sort of vaguely sad that I don't have a plot bunny that fits the bill (except wait, maybe I do, curse you chatfic).

Anyways! I hope you feel better. *sends happy thoughts*

I usually tell hector_rashbaum what ep I'm watching (if she's online) so she can warn me for any hardcore embarrassing awful moments. (Glee sometimes brings out my embarrassment squick.)

Oh man, I've got one little PO fic piece that's sort of languishing in my files that I might post at some point. I dunno. I have no idea where else to take it, which makes me sad.
