1. What did you do in 2010 that you’d never done before?
Went to a concert by myself, got put on a guest list, cried after meeting someone, worked 75 hours in two weeks, was honest with myself about certain things.
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any resolutions last year! And I have made a few goals for next year, yeah.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No, thank god.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
I'd put my Great-Gramma on here, but we weren't all that close. I had seen her maybe twice before she got sick, so..yeah.
However, I was so, so, so saddened by the passing of this little guy:

5. What countries did you visit?
None!
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
A regular job. Motivation. Hm. I dunno, that's all i can think of, honestly.
7. What dates from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Feb 20th - Making the snap decision to drive down to the beach to see Flogging Molly.
March 17th - It was a good thing.
June 18th & 19th - Empires! I think that these became bigger than just concerts, because the first one was only my second time driving in Charlotte and it was such a good experience. The 19th became more than driving to Greensboro for a show, if only because Jamie put aside time for JUST ME AND HER.
July 11th - The Young Veins! Getting to go to that show with Jamie and having her snort and have more fun with TYV than Rooney was awesome. (Also, JON WALKER. MY PURSE. OH MY GOD.)
July 28th - The minute that Paul McCartney came out onstage, I burst out into tears. Like, immediately, holy shit.
August 24th and 28th - I know, all my big memorable moments are concerts (save one), but whatevs. I got to see Hey Monday in an acoustic setting and WOW, HI. That also involved getting to take Addy to see them and watching her get totally and completely fucking charmed by Alex Lipshaw. And the 28th was TAI/KISS, which was amazing. Because, hi, wow, random fucking hug from Sisky. (Also, Bill Beckett's stunning beauty and realizing all the stories about Chiz being the sweetest were true)
October 31 - I have never been so drunk in my life, sweet fuck. But it was one of my favorite moments of hanging out with Jamie and Jeff. (Few things beat seeing a dude dressed up as Tony the Tiger, outside, with the head off, throwing up and whining.)
November 12 - HANSON. HAAAAAANNNSSSSOOOONNNNN. That was probably the first time I have ever been so completely overwhelmed with emotions that I just started CRYING after meeting someone. I dunno, the moment that I met Zac Hanson is probably going to be imprinted on my memory for a long, long time.
December 24 - Christmas Eve with my family was fabulous. My cousin Kim, who usually spearheads the gay is a synonym for shitty, finally listened to me when I asked for them to stop. And I came out to my cousin, Ali, who admitted that she'd been surprised to see it on my facebook, but she hugged. It was a good Christmas Eve. (also, SO MUCH FOOD, SWEET GOD)
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I WROTE 67,000 WORDS TOTAL THIS YEAR, YOU GUYS. Also - working 75 hours and not dying of sunburn, exhaustion, JUST KILL ME PLEASE.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Hm. Not venting, I think. Instead of venting and letting myself release stress, I just bottled it all up, until I was freaking out at people (especially
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I got strep throat for the first time ever! It sucked so HARD. Three days of eating saltines and jello, YUM-O. XD
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Oh, huh. Earrings stuff, I suppose? It's turned into a really awesome thing for me. Hmm. Books for hollow books? My concert tickets, definitely. I dunno, huh.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Everyone on my f-list.
13. Whose behavior appalled you?
There are a few people who absolutely appalled me this year. Not going into it though.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Gas for my car, probably, LOL!
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Meeting
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
I got STUPIDLY excited about Hanson. AND THEN I GOT TO MEET THEM. There are a flurry of texts on my phone that consist of !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I MET HANSON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to Jamie and Christy.
16. What song will always remind you of 2010?
I Know You Know by Empires. (really, the entirety of 'Bang' by Empires. XD) Uhhh. Photosynthesis by Frank Turner. And OH! Thinking 'Bout Something by Hanson. IDK, I think those three sum it up forme.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
A.) Happier or sadder? Happier! (I still have moments of...fairly low depressive moods, but I noticed that they weren't as CONSTANT as they were last year)
B.) Thinner or fatter? I don't know and I don't care, ahahahaha!
C.) Richer or poorer? Probably about the same, actually!
18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
Talked more, I think. Taken more pictures. Worked more. Created more.
19. What do you wish you’d done less of?
Hm. Bottled things up. I wish I hadn't been so scared to check out financial aid for school and shit.
20. How did you spend Christmas?
Did Christmas Eve with my family and then spent all day Christmas, lounging around, watching past Doctor Who christmas specials and then watched the new one!
21. Did you fall in love in 2010?
I spent 2010 in love, does that count?
22. What was your favorite TV program?
Doctor Who!!! (HELLO, SWEETIE) Also, Modern Family rocked my motherfucking socks off.
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
I don't really hate anyone...I just feel sorry for some people, LOL!
24. What was the best book you read?
I answered this in the other one, but probably The Wooden Sea by Jonathon Carroll. Umm. The Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx was an incrediably engrossing read. Other than that, idk!
25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Frank Turner, hands down.
26. What did you want and get?
Uh. A lot of material things? IDK.
27. What did you want and not get?
I think I pretty much got everything I wanted this year, actually.
28. What was your favorite film of this year?
HARRY POTTER PT 1. SO. MANY. FEELINGS. Um, do the Danger Days videos count? XD
29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was 23 and I spent it working for the Census. Two days later, I went to work at the racetrack. (However, notably, I DID get Bang by Empires on the 19th, thus proving lolarious that I got Bang for my birthday on Tom Conrad's birthday. YEAH.)
However, we celebrated my birthday a few weeks later by going out to eat at Olive Garden with Mom, Gramma, Cina, Addy, Christy, her sister Samantha, Chandler, Jamie, Jeff, and my buddy Joseph from Verizon. And then Jamie, Jeff, Joseph, and myself all hung out at her place and I laughed so hard that I kept coughing. \o/
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
MOAR MONIES.
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
'Is it clean? Cool.'
32. What kept you sane?
Music.

33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Oh man, I dunno! Zac Hanson, uh. ....Hm. Jon Walker, Nicole Anderson, Cassadee Pope. Empires! XD
34. What political issue stirred you the most?
Prop 8.
35. Who did you miss?
Everyone. I miss people I haven't had the chance to meet yet!
36. Who was the best new person you met?
Hmm, that's a hard one. I dunno, actually! Idk, I'll just shrug on this one, LOL!
37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010.
It's always the right time for Killjoys - Make some noise.
If they make you feel like shit, they're not your friend. If they don't care that they make you feel like shit, they can fuck off, they're not worth your time.
And my personal favorite: The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice-versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
38. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
you're there when i fall
you'd help me be strong
even when i lost my faith
we're standing so tall
we made it through it all
we will keep it going strong
cause i feel it in the songs
to all my friends from around the way
much respect
we owe you dues
we've got your back
you've got our's too
we'll be there
should you fall
and i just wanted you to know
you can always count on me
