Internet issues
11 November 2010 12:52I'm having computer/internet issues because my Mom, God love her, thinks she can fix the computer running slowly.
So, last night, Mom ran a disk defrag where it found an issue and kindly fixed it. Except that when she tried to get online again, it basically told her to reactivate Windows.
...Oy.
So we went through reactivating Windows and shit, and when we tried to get on the internet. .......Nothing.
We fought and fought with it, before finally calling support and they helped us get on the internet (after we had to reset our modem). But it's a matter of...me being on here right now is fine, but if I close the window out, I have to restart the whole computer or else Firefox won't come up PERIOD. It won't even show that I'm launching anything on the Task Manager.
It'll load AIM, strangely enough, and wordpad, and at least there's that. If I start it up right as the computer starts up, it'll let me bring up iTunes.
SO, if you were wondering where the fuck I was last night, that's where.

Also, I need jump rings so I can make pretty dangly earrings and since getting tires put on was more than I expected I can't go and get jump rings. It also means I can't make other pairs of the Killjoy earrings.
EXCUSE ME WHILE I RAGEFACE.
I might make some of the smaller earrings and set the store up early and pray that something good happens. (That is not, for the record, me fishing, I swear) (It's more of a 'hopefully something good will happen to make this worth the hassle' or whatever) (ugh, my head hurts)
