EMPIRES PART 2
20 June 2010 03:43So, immediately after I got home from the Charlotte show, I called Jamie to see if she'd go with me to the Greensboro show. I mean, Max offered to put me on the guest list, so how could I not go, right?
Luckily, because I have the best friend ever, she agreed to go with me. So today we set out for Greensboro and Empires.
ETA 2: As far as the band goes and donations, my Mom's boyfriend gave me some money to specifically give to the band, as well as Jamie donating about 10 bucks to them too. Also, the issue was never money for a ticket, but money for GAS down there and back as well as not having a guaranteed ticket. It's about an hour and a half down to Greensboro, and that's a while to drive along with a lot of gas to not possibly have a ticket. (also, I had no clue where I was going) Jamie agreed to go with me as the second part of my birthday gift, since she got me Bang! So money WAS donated to the band, that much I can tell you.

This show was, honest-to-god, almost the best show I've seen this year, and that's only beaten out by Flogging Molly. This was just. I don't even have WORDS for it, okay?
And as far as tonight, OH MY GOD, MAX. MAAAAAXX. I was so overwhelmed by that, honestly. I just. Oh my GOD, I can't wait for tonight.
