Yesterday

artmusicsoul came down and it was fucking awesome. We hung out, her and Mom discussed dwarf taters and I wanted to throw things at them. Also, we rented Rise of the Guardians and OHMYGOD, BABY TOOTH AND RUSSIAN SANTA AND EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. I swear to god, when Baby Tooth sneezed all of us squeaked like mad.
2.) The dogs were especially loving last night, very cuddly and there are few things better than puppy cuddles.
3.) Discussed crafty awesome things withmarkmelove and possible trips to Chicago, if A CERTAIN FUCKING BAND (fucking Empires) WOULD RELEASE SOME TOUR DATES. My tax refund is going to be fabulous and I'm thinking that it's going to work out pretty well.
Today
1.) My brain and hormones went into overdrive yesterday and today and I cleaned my room and cleaned the fuck out of my living room and hall. With two cats and two dogs, we accumulate a TON of animal hair around certain areas, so I attacked the floors with the vacuum cleaner, on top of cleaning all the other things.
2.) I made dinner tonight and it was lovely. I stuffed some of those jumbo pasta shells with chicken and cheese and then baked them with red sauce and it was GORGEOUS. Plus, Mom actually enjoyed it, even though she normally hates chicken with red sauce (much to my dismay, because I love it), so YAY. Also, Doctor Who was pretty decent - though I feel like it's taking a little bit to actually hit momentum. But it's nice to see these little...romps, I guess? And OH GOD, ORPHAN BLACK. It is like crack. So food and TV, FUCK YEAH.
3.) I think I've got an idea as to what I can do for my Western!Bucky cosplay for DragonCon. I've got the boots (as I saw them and quietly squeaked in Wal-Mart. My size, marked down to 7 bucks, only pair. HELL YES), and I've been trying to decide how I'm going to do the arm. I'm planning on doing a Winter Soldier type of Western!Bucky, so I knew that I wanted the arm to be a brand. I wanted the star and everything to be branded on there.
But I've been trying to figure out how I was gonna do it withxandri and her roomie, and it was suggested to do something of a sheer sleeve with the design on it, so I'm not having to constantly put it on my arm. I'm thinking that maybe I could alter a pair of pantyhose? I mean, it's a western theme, so I'll need to appear kind of tanned and everything, so I think that getting a pair of pantyhose and then matching a foundation to that? I think that'll end up working really well. I'm excited!
