It's taken 5 minutes...

5 minutes, to just get my computer to load enough of the page that I can hit stop and then click post on here. I barely can get Twitter to load, and I have been trying for at least the past half hour to get AIM to load.

This is getting ridiculous and thank god that Mom gets paid tomorrow, because then we can really work on at least getting the computer fixed as a stop-gap.

Now, granted, the computer did have a scan stopped early this morning by Mom before she went into work, and she thinks letting it go overnight will help it out. And the computer is old. About 7 or 8 yearsish? Maybe 9, but I doubt that.

It's just frustrating. On the upside, I'm writing on my SDS exchange fic, so yayyy.

IDK, I'm pretty annoyed at this thing. I also need to get jump rings so I can make earrings...and possibly go to Cina's to set up my big cartel store. On the bright side, I chose a name? I took a page out of redsnake05's book and went to the Latin route, even if the translation isn't exactly about earrings.

I'm going with 'Laetus Fiore'. Roughly, it should mean Bright Flowers. Unless it should be Fiore Laetus for grammar purposes. (Gimme a break, it's been at least 5 years since I took any Latin)

Still, I like it...I might shorten it to just 'Laetus', though. I'm still waffling.

IDK, I've at least got Stephen King's Under The Dome to read, and I'm only 300 pages in...so at least I'm not mind-numbingly bored.

I'll try and get online tomorrow, hopefully things'll be working better. :-/

I'm thinking about shortening it down to just Laetus, the longer I really think about it. Not sure.

The order you put the words in really doesn't matter, but I've never seen fiore meaning flower in Latin (it seems to be Italian). Bright flower would be laetus flos or laeti flores if you want the plural.

You have to take into account that I was learning Latin. From an exchange teacher who was from Spain. Who had limited English. And was teaching a bunch of kids in North Carolina. Ohhh, school system, I love you most.

And in sentences, I do think it matters how you put the order, for grammatical reasons, if I'm remembering correctly. (let's be honest here: 5 and a half years ago, I was barely passing Latin 2, so I'm probably wrong.)

I'm thinking, more than anything, of just shortening it to Laetus. Seems like it would be easier and a lot better to put on things. Not sure yet, though.
