I've got an entry open for prompts, here and she asked for:
Nick/Bill - This has to stop
Title: What A Catch
Pairing: Nick Jonas/William Beckett
Word Count: 487

Summary: This has to stop turns into this should stop. Turns out William maybe was more wrong than he'd anticipated.
"We should. We shouldn't do this anymore."
"Shouldn't isn't can't or won't, Bill."
Bill sighs harder than he means to and looks at Nick. Nick, who's still sleep-rumpled, hair all over the place and darkening love bites on his neck and chest. Nick, who's looking at him with calm eyes. Far calmer than Bill feels right about now.
"No, it isn't," Bill says, leaning down and losing himself in Nick sleep-soft lips and pliant body.
They've been doing this for months. Longer than Bill would care to relate, honestly. It's one thing to be screwing around, but it's another thing entirely to be doing it with a kid. And it's not like Nick acts like a kid, but he has a feeling that wouldn't stand up much in court.
It kills him sometimes. Just utterly kills him when he has to drag himself away from Nick, from soft curls and softer eyes. He sees the fact that it's killing both of them, and yet the only thing he can think to do is remind Nick of their ages.
"I'm not a kid."
"I know that."
"Then stop treating me like one, William."
Nick's eyes are hard, jaw set and he still looks like a kid and it tears Bill's heart out and throws it around.
"It's just. I forget how old you are sometimes, is all."
"What the fuck. Seventeen is completely legal in some parts of the US and I don't see what age has to do with it when you've been fucking me for the past four months," Nick says, cheeks flushing in anger.
"No, no, no. That's not what I meant at all, Nick. It's just. You're seventeen and things mean so much more to you than they actually are."
"Well. Now that we've got that cleared up, I'll just leave you alone."
Nick storms out of the room and all Bill can do is cling to his own knees, staring after him and wondering just how to fix it. If he should fix it.
If he can fix it.
Bill gets a copy of the cd in the mail, finding it weeks after it was sent. There's a post-it note on the inside, scrawled across it in Nick's handwriting is a simple sentence.
Just because you say 'this has to stop' doesn't always mean it really should. Think about it.

He puts the cd in and listens to it, start to finish, before placing it back into the case and grabbing his phone. It takes him a few moments of deliberating, wondering, thinking. Sending the text is easier than composing it is, it always is. It's a press of a button, it requires no thinking.
Yet it's the best thing he's thought about.
Come over for dinner next week. Should and has to aren't always best. - Bill

And Bill/Nick ended up being a totally interesting dynamic, because they're both such young guys, yet still so SERIOUS. It was a lot of fun to play around with.
