hector_rashbaum that I didn't think they fit. So I decided, okay, let's do this: I put all of the Empires stuff (official releases, at least. I have a few audio rips from shows on YouTube) into a mostly chronological order in a playlist and listened to it all, straight through.
I was REALLY surprised to hear HOW WELL it all fit together. Like, I didn't even skip songs I don't like (I like Believe, but I'm usually only good to listen to it once every few months and I do not like My Poor Lover AT ALL) and they still fit. It was a really nice surprise!

OH! If we're Facebook friends (and if you wanna be, feel free to let me know), then you saw that the 26th (Saturday) was my Mom's birthday!
The picture's kind of bad, but I don't actually give a fuck? I love it. She's wearing the plastic top from her cake as a hat and I'm pretty sure that sums my Mom up, actually.
