Bunnies

day in and day out I've been getting bunnies.

Just cause I get them doesn't mean they get written.



I've had a few Metallica bunnies...one of my favored pairings is Kirk and Jason.

And the all time favorite Metallica pairing is James and Lars. They seem to fit you know? And for some reason I've never been able to write it.

Until now.

I'd had the idea for god knows how long about their lives told from James' point of view. I don't know, so I started it off from that first meeting and it's slowly taking form.

I'll admit I got a smidgen of the idea (to tell it from one point of view) from the fic "Snowlight" by bella_cheval. And once I had that in mind it's been off running. I just have to get it down. LOL

It was also fueled by 'When Metallica Ruled The World' on VH1 the other night...so that helped thank God!

I've started putting together things for a bake sale for the victims of Katrina. Cakes, cookies, cupcakes, brownies, key chains. Now some of you may be thinking 'Key Chains? What the fuck?' but hear me out.

Back in 2001 I had a bake sale for the 9/11 victims. I raised $210 in a little less than 3 hours. If I could do that...well then yeah. I want to try and do the same now. But the key chains were big hits, we're talking I had to ask my mom to run to the store for hemp and beads cause I hadn't brought enough with me!

I've gotta ask my friends etc for help with food and helping me actually sell it on the day of.(I don't know when I'll do it yet) But I've got the ball rolling.
