And I really did want there to be a sense of...these guys have done a lot of growing up, and I didn't want it to be tense, but I did want a sense of awkwardness? Both of them strike me as being mildly awkward in social situations, and I wanted that in here. And it was one of those fics that came together very gracefully and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
