From Tumblr because I'm (A) Lazy and (B) TIRED

Tonight didn’t suck too badly…was put on the back gate which sucks. There’s literally nothing that goes on over there, save for the Stadium Clean people…but they’re lovely.

See, with my job at the amphitheatre, after the show is over…we’ve got to go and pick up lawn chairs that you can rent for 5 bucks. It’s a pain in the ass, especially when it’s a sold out crowd, but not all bad, because it’s our time to swap stories and make fun of each other. (I ♥ that)

But what surprised me tonight was as I helped pick up chairs, I fell and didn’t get hurt, but three guys immediately came over and helped me up. They made SURE I was okay before reaching and the three of them ended up clearing off an entire section of chairs in less than five minutes. Them and their girlfriends (wives, maybe?) proceeded to then help us pick up the rest of the way.

They then proceeded to thank us for a great night and left. Seriously, it was the most surprising thing of the night and it was so delightful.

They really can. Working security always brings an interesting batch around...so for these guys and their lady friends to help us pick up chairs was....super surprising. My boss said he wishes he woulda gotten their names so he could give 'em some comp tickets for helping out. (Because my Boss rules)
