Molly update

So, the other night, when I posted the entry about donating, I never expected this.

As of right now (6/23/2011, 5:05pm) $118.71 has been raised for Molly.

I am crying like you would not believe right now. I am so amazingly grateful to each and every single one of you. Whether you reposted the link, or you donated or whatever. I am grateful and I love you all.

The other night, Mom's boyfriend called and flat-out told my Mom that he had $800 set aside for Molly because it was kind of killing him as well to think about Molly in pain.

So because of that, we can have Molly's surgery sooner rather than later, which is probably one of the biggest reliefs in the world. She's having more and more trouble going to the bathroom because she can't quite squat all the way, and we've noticed that she's real ginger about how it's touched and everything.

We made the decision last night to see what the surgeon had available.

Molly's surgery is now officially scheduled for next Wednesday, the 29th. We can make a down payment of sorts to the vet so they can go ahead and do her surgery.

Now, what that means for the money that has been donated is this: That money will be used to make the follow-up payments on the bill.

That's all I know at the moment, I'll keep you guys updated. I've also taken to printing out a hard-copy of each donation receipt so that we can keep track of it as well.

For the first time, I'm not sitting here chewing my lip to shreds with worry. Thank you so much, everyone.
