you know I've been watching Guns and Roses videos the past few nights. I don't know why really other than they have become very fascinating to me.
I fear I've kind of become of the same mind as Lars Ulrich (no one run yet LOL!) They're very . . .Fascinating due to that terribly self-destructive feel they have to most of the images you see.
These guys were, and still are, very talented. What amazes the hell out of me is that they're alive. Kind of like with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards . . .I'm still trying to figure those two out LOL!
I mean . . .Duff's friggin' pancreas exploded. Exploded. As in BOOM . . .Shit that's a different thought. And yet he's alive. Funny what the human body can go through huh? And then you know he went on to become married, have kids, and is now in another group. I love Velvet Revolver. lmao, Duff's what drew me to their single 'Slither' and inevitably me adopting Scott as a muse.
I remember seeing Duff's upper body and my mouth just dropping slam the hell open. And when I actually sat down and listened I was completely intrigued by the sound. Scott Weiland's voice is something of utter . . .adoration to me. It's the right mix of gravelly tones without being terribly overdone. (To me at least) Back when STP was big, all i had was this shitty little raido that didn't get very much but it got some station that played them a good bit. The one song i remember by them was 'Plush'. And when I heard Scott's voice on 'Slither' i realized just who the hell it was LOL!
Back onto GnR....Duff seems like Tommy Lee---a big fucking puppy. LMAO! Everyone loves him and no-one likes to see him upset. *Shrugs* that's just how it is to me. And then you go to the obivous name mention with GnR..
Axl Rose. He's an ass. Plain and simple. But in the RP chatroom over on Rockfic (best. site. ever.) Cherry_Pie plays him to a T . . .And she does it so well in fact that I've developed a fondness for him. Well her version at least LOL! It was the ladies from Rockfic, Cherry, Rhi, D, Joolz, Ev, Chrome, RZ, Manda, Barb, and C who inspired me to get into the malay and start rping...to aquire these muses like I do pounds during Christmas. *snort*
Thanks to those ladies named above i've gained my muses who I am grateful for. They help me write like muses should! Mick was my first muse. Mick Mars from Motley Crue is so amazingly cool and no one seems to think that save a handful i've found through Rockfic once again (seeing a trend?) Then came Jason Newsted. Ahhhh he's by far one of my favorites. Quite a darling. He's helped me more than the others oddly enough lol! Janis came next, she was someone who i had always . . .Known of. My mom is a HUGE music freak. Every band named (save 1) in this whooooolllle thing I got turned onto thanks to my mom.
Like a lot of people I feel like I understand some of the stuff we know about Janis Joplin. Low self-esteem, etc. I get that completely. So I adopted her quickly. She's fun to bring out and play LOL. My Scott muse is a real character; okay okay okay . . .Bad pun. Thanks to DSAM he's been brought out, molded, fired in the kiln, and put on display LOL!
Music is something that i enjoy to the fullest extent. Hell I didn't get onto Motley Crue until this January when I found out that my mom was into going to see them in Feb. So I wanted to go, i asked her to download me some Motley Crue so that i'd know more than 'Kickstart My Heart' and 'Same Ol' Situation' you know? lol. She came through and a new Crue-Head was born. :-D
Another thing that's always been big for me is writing, ever since i was little i've been writing. My great-grandmother encouraged every single thing i've ever done. God rest her soul. There are so many people on Rockfic who inspire ME to write. They're so many talented authors there that I get so nervous when posting. There are a few who have inspired bunnies, Bella, Andy, Heather, Ev, Joolz, Barb, D....I've got so many bunnies i could open a petting zoo.
--For those of you who don't know a bunny is a plot bunny. A thing that hits you and then just sits there until you write it. I've gotten a lovely little Lepp-bunny thanks to Bella....
In one of her chapters of 'Snowlight' (a wonderful piece of fiction), Joe made this little speech:
==="“I heard you and Phil one night,” Joe said softly. “I was walking by your room and I heard you moaning. I thought you had a bird in there and were shagging her together until I heard Phil call out your name. I’ve been around him long enough to know when he’s going to come, he always calls out the name of whoever he’s with. He was saying your name in that weird little tone of voice he gets when he’s right on the edge and ready to lose it.” " ===
and i got a bunny that she's been feeding. Thanks Bella! *tips hat; or rather Mick's hat as MayQueen wears no hat*
Iron Maiden's been someone that I've VERY recently become...not really attached but fascinated by (i used that damned word a lot). I recently went and bought one of their albums. 'The Number Of The Beast'. GOOD LORD...i love it. Absolutely love it (I blame you Andy...you too Fiendy). It's playing right now actually *grins*. And not to mention but i've got a thing for good rhythm sections, and these guys have a fucking AMAZING one. I love bassists and drummers. Those are the backbones of the band and boy does Maiden have one of steel. And they're good looking? *thuds* lovely.
For some reason they're helping me while I'm thinking over my Lepp-Bunny. Here's what I have so far:::
~*~*Joe couldn't help but hear the low laughter. Hell he was beside of Phil's room after all. He rolled over onto his stomach; head facing left side of his room that was closest to the door that adjoined the large suite they were all occupying.
Someone was in there with him, and they were being to bloody loud!
Grumbling as he shifted onto his side angrily he heard the laughter again. On one hand Joe was happy that his friend was laughing so that meant he was having a good time with whoever was with him.
But didn't they know how to shut up or be quieter?
Joe's question was answered soon as louder laughter burst forth. Getting up he stalked to the shared door when he saw that it was open slightly.
Snickering Joe leaned forward and got the shock of his life. He had been pranked before and he wondered if this was something they had cooked up.
But even Steve and Phil weren't THAT serious about a prank. On the bed were the two blondes. Steve's white-blonde hair was spread over the pillow that nearly matched the brilliant color. Beautiful picture if it wasn't for the distracting fact that Joe could see that Steve's white-blonde WAS quite natural.
By his side was the tiny Phil Collen. Joe stared with . . .Well he didn't know what he was staring with. Admiration came to the forefront of his thoughts at the rounded shape of Phil's ass. An ass that led to both supple thighs and a smooth back. Watching, and looking closer, he saw that Phil's tiny, almost bird-like, body was curled up around Steve's side.
He watched curiously, the feeling of admiration had rapidly morphed, as Steve smiled gently down at Phil. Lovingly almost, decided Joe, was the look in his friend's eyes.*~*~
That's all i've gotten out of that bunny actually. It's shaping up though. *grins* I think that i need to quit rambling....Nite you guys
