*FLAILS*
YOU GUYS. This was so hard. But so worth it.
This is the 4th part in the series of Kevin/Macy (if you've got a title for it, hit me with it. No, seriously, LOL)
The other three are:
The Tale Of Unfairness
Can't Stop The World
Cupcakes and Bumblebees
Title: Lighthouse and Tempests
Rating: R (OMG I am so proud)
Pairing: Kevin/Macy
Fandom: Jonas Brothers/JONAS tv show
Author's notes: THIS WAS SO DIFFICULT. But totally rewarding. ♥ Also, cut text comes from The Hush Sound's song 'Echo'. The title was inspired by those two lines.
Summary: Kevin's favorite thing about dating Macy is that they don't fight...So it makes sense that their first big fight comes two weeks before homecoming.
Kevin's favorite thing about dating Macy is that they don't fight. They argue, sure, but they don't fight. If her basketball (or football. Or soccer. Or whatever sport) runs late, he stays behind when he can. They ride together, and it's probably his favorite time of day. If he's got a late cheerleading practice, she'll stay and watch.
So it makes sense that their first big fight comes two weeks before homecoming.
The thing is that both Stella and Macy are up for Junior Homecoming Queen, and it's a big deal. Kevin knows it's a big deal because it's all he hears. And of course, Kevin is escorting Macy, she's his girlfriend and he can't wait for all of the stress to die down and just let them have fun with it. But Joe won't man-up and ask Stella and so of course, that's all Macy and Kevin hear about.
"I just feel bad for her,"
"I know. It...you know, if Joe would just ask her,"
"Yeah, but he's told her that he doesn't want to ruin their friendship,"
"Kevin, I'm not saying they should date or whatever, I'm just saying that he could escort her for homecoming,"
Kevin sighs a little because he knows what she's saying, but the thing is that Joe has his reasons for not asking Stella to homecoming. Granted, Kevin thinks they're stupid, but he won't admit that, because then it'd get back to Joe and he doesn't feel like listening to Joe whine.
"I know, but he's said that's how he feels. He couldn't trust himself to escort her,"
Macy's expression changes and normally he would be so adoring of it because when she makes that grimace her nose crinkles up and it is the cutest thing ever. But he's a little frustrated, because the entire morning, all he heard from Joe was about why he wasn't asking Stella to homecoming. (Personally, Kevin thinks Joe is an idiot, but whatever.)
"Well that's stupid. He's just escorting her...and if he can trust himself to let her design clothes for him then he can escort her,"
"Well that's different! And don't call him stupid,"
"Yeah, but he's being stupid, Kevin,"
And that's how it degenerates into a big public argument that ends up with them stalking off in opposite directions. Kevin's not sure how it got to that point, he's not sure who started yelling first, but he doesn't wonder if he can blame this all on Joe.
Kevin's moping over his guitar at home, playing in the minor key because that's how he feels right now. He doesn't like arguments with anyone and here he is, arguing with his girlfriend all because of his stupid brother.
Stupid Joe and his stupidness.
He's strumming lightly when Joe walks in.
"Aww, what's wrong Kev? You and Macy fight?"
"Maybe," he says, feeling quite snippy. After all, if Joe just manned up and asked Stella out and got over himself, Kevin wouldn't be in this situation.
"Uh-oh. You've got that look on your face. NICK, KEVIN'S GOT THAT LOOK ON HIS FACE!"
"What look, Joe?" and Nick's coming up the stairs and all Kevin can think is how badly he wants them both to just go away. Far away.
"That same look he got when you ripped the head off his favorite G.I. Joe,"
"No, the same look he got when you ripped the head off his favorite G.I. Joe,"
And so it went, them arguing back and forth before Kevin arched an eyebrow. He strummed a chord and waited. And waited some more. And a little bit longer, because obviously they were deaf.
"Hey! Shut up," he says when they startle and look at him. Nick's eyes narrow as he studies Kevin, crossing his arms and looking entirely too shrewd for a sixteen year old.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing, Nick. Everything's peachy," he says, strumming some more chords on his guitar for lack of anything better to do. Maybe he should get out the super guitar and play it for a while, just to annoy Nick.
Joe and Nick share a look before squeezing onto the couch with him between them. Kevin hates when they try to team up on him.
"C'mon, Kev, tell us what's wrong," says Joe, wheedling as he tries puppy eyes that stopped working when he was, like, five.
"Get off the couch, please," he says, hoping that'll work as Nick slings an arm around his shoulders.
"Now, Kevin. As your brothers we have your best interests at heart. What's wrong? Fight with Macy? Did you fall down at cheer practice?"
Kevin shrugs Nick off and suddenly hates his brothers with a strong, fiery passion. Seriously. Nick's arm falls beside of him and then Joe's slinging an arm around Kevin's shoulders. Kevin wonders if he can smother them both in their sleep at the same time. He could probably bribe Frankie into helping.
"No, really. Come on, tell us what's wrong, Kev. Really,"
"I got into a fight with my girlfriend because you're an idiot and won't take Stella to homecoming," says Kevin, getting up and putting his guitar up, hitting the button to hide the rack again. Joe's mouth is opening and closing like a fish and Kevin feels perfectly vindicated. Nick looks a little relieved and a lot amused, so Kevin doesn't really mind the eyebrow arch he gets when he looks at his little brother.
"Well. That's. That's just stupid," Joe says, spluttering a little as Kevin eyes him.
"Yeah. You are. Man. Just ask her,"
"But you know WHY I can't do that," Joe says, a hint of a whine coming to his voice and Kevin wants to beat him. But not with a guitar, because he likes the guitar too much. Maybe he can just beat him up; he is Joe's older brother after all.
"I know you're an idiot. And my girlfriend's mad at me because I stuck up for you,"
"Aww, you stuck up for me?"
"Missing the point, Joe,"
Kevin thinks that his brother is an idiot. More of one, really. Joe flips his hair out of his eyes and shrugs, grinning all the same. Really, the boy just has no sense.
"I can't ask Stella to homecoming. Because of...that. And the thing,"
"That's stupid. You're allowed to take someone to homecoming as friends," Nick says, looking at Joe and Kevin watches Joe splutter and walk out quickly, grumbling to himself.
Kevin would feel a lot better about it if he and Macy weren't currently fighting.
The next day at school, he seeks out Macy, biting his lip as he walks up to her locker. She sees him and makes that displeased face and he sighs a little. He didn't mean to yell at her, he really didn't, but it just happened.
"Hey, Macy," he says as he leans against the locker door and she sighs a little.
"Hi, Kevin,"
"I'm sorry for yesterday. I was being an idiot because I was sticking up for my brother. I'm sorry for yelling at you,"
She watches him for a moment before smiling slowly. She tosses her hair over her shoulder and nods slowly. Macy looks up at him and pokes his chest lightly.
"You'd better be glad that I get it, mister," she says as he breaks out into a grin, pulling her into a hug and kissing her cheek.
"I really am sorry,"
"I know. So, I'm almost done with the sculpture finally. Wanna come over this evening and check it out?" she says, tilting her head up to him. He presses their lips together briefly before nodding and grinning.
"Yeah. I'll come by after cheer practice, if that's okay?" he says as she giggles and nods, leaning up to press their lips together even as a teacher yells at them from across the hall. Kevin rolls his eyes and grins, letting Macy go.
"I'll see you then!" she chirps, bouncing off towards class.
Kevin comes out of cheer practice actually soaked in sweat. It's a little disgusting, but his hair is hanging in limp, wet curls. The only comfort is that the others look just as sweaty and exhausted feeling. There's a burn in his arms from having to do actual pull-ups and then push ups and then he got to hold Selena in the air for a solid five minutes.
He's not sure, but he's kind of sure that Demi's trying to kill him.
Stumbling into the locker room, he grabs his clothes and makes his way to the shower, quickly washing off in the almost ice cold water. He still feels kind of disgusting, but at least he doesn't smell disgusting. Kevin wets his hair down, hoping that at least that'll help some of it, but he doesn't really hold much hope for it.
He steps out of the shower and dries off, quickly pulling his clothes on and sighing a little. Kevin tosses his sweaty, nasty (really nasty) clothes back into the gym bag before slinging it over his shoulder.
"Bye, Kevin!" calls out Selena as he walks out of the locker room and towards the parking lot where his car is.
"Bye, Selena! Oh! Hey, question. Are carpooling before the Homecoming game?" he asks, jogging over to her and Demi.
"I thought we could. I don't know where we'll get ready though," Demi says, taking a long swig of her water, leaning against the wall as Kevin nods and grins a little.
"If you can ignore my brothers, you guys could get ready at mine. It's plenty big enough. I mean, it's like an old firehouse that we live in now, so yeah, big enough. Plus, we've got a lot of mirrors 'cause of Joe. He likes looking at himself,"
And he knows that logically, Joe is going to kill him for saying that. But it is kind of worth it for the way that Demi and Selena burst out laughing, Kevin's own face stretching into a grin.
"Sounds good. I'll let the girls on the squad know," Demi says, punching him in the shoulder playfully as Kevin laughs. Demi and Selena are kind of like his little sisters. If he had little sisters.
"Bye, you guys," he says, walking out to the parking lot and to his car. He tosses his bag into the passenger seat before calling home and letting his parents know that he'll be going to Macy's. He hears some kind of chaos in the background and is very suddenly glad that he's going to see Macy.
Kevin wants no part in the chaos.
Right now.
He drives to Macy's in relative silence, mind whirring over the practice as he thinks about homecoming. Kevin smiles a little as he thinks about taking Macy to the homecoming dance, and he can't wait to see her and what she's gotten done on the sculpture.
When Kevin pulls up at Macy's, he can't help checking to make sure his hair isn't all crazy like it tends to get after a shower. Looking out the window, he smiles as a little girl tromps around the yard, dragging a stick and an empty leash behind her.
This must be Macy's sister, he thinks. They don't look very much alike, but he's not really seen her Mom (or Dad), so it's not like he can really judge properly. She's got the same hair color as Macy, though, but where Macy's is straight, the little girl's hair is wavy and yanked back into a messy ponytail. When he steps out of the car, the girl (Nora, his mind supplies) stands up, holding the stick out at him.
She's adorable, he thinks, grinning as he holds his hands up. He's got little brothers, he knows how this works.
He hopes.
"Halt!" she says, coming a little closer with the stick until it's a few inches away from his mid-section. Kevin can't help but think that her and Frankie would probably get along like a house on fire, but the thought of introducing the two of them scares him just a little bit.
"You gotta tell me what you want or else I can't let you pass!" she says, almost bouncing in place, and for all that she doesn't look much like Macy, he can see how this is probably how Macy was as a kid.
"Oh. Well. I don't know the magic word, but I'm here to see Macy," he says, playing along for the sake of it, trying desperately not to laugh. Joe and Nick always got upset when he laughed, whereas Frankie never cared. And on second thought, that probably always made Frankie a little more dangerous, if he's honest. She's got a giant hat on, pairing the frothy mass of ribbons and some lace with a feather. He likes the feather.
She's got on some sort of pants that he's pretty sure never once belonged to her. They make her look about ten times tinier with their baggy shape, and she's got a shirt paired with about five different vests. It's interesting, but god, she looks ridiculously adorable. The feather bobs around her head as she blows it out of her face as she steps a little bit closer.
"Are you Macy's boyfriend?" she asks, looking disgusted but intrigued all the same. He grins and puts his hands down, jerking them back up when she pokes him in the belly with her stick.
"Yep. That okay?"
"It's nasty. You guys prob'ly kiss and stuff!"
Kevin is honestly quite proud of himself for not bursting out into loud laughter at her expression.
"Well, it is to you. But I really like your sister, so it's not nasty to me,"
"Well, duh. If it was nasty to you, you wouldn't be her boyfriend,"
Kevin loses it then, laughing into his hands, trying not to let Nora see him laughing. Leaning back against the car, he keeps laughing, feeling his stomach start to ache pleasantly. Nora folds her arms, propping the stick against her leg as she eyes him, looking just like Macy.
Of course, he kind of rethinks how adorable she is when she picks the stick back up and whacks his shin. He yelps, jerking back and clutching his shin as she grins, giggling innocently and obviously pleased with herself.
So of course that's exactly when Macy opens the door, a horrified expression on her face as she runs out into the yard.
"Nora! Oh my god, Kevin, are you okay?"
"Fine. Fine,"
"I had to protect him! It's my blessing to let him enter the house," Nora says, nodding proudly as Macy lets out a frustrated noise. Kevin's rubbing his shin and shaking his head in amusement, though his shin is throbbing.
"And Mom told you that you should use magic words instead of whacking people! Apologize to him, right now!"
"Sorry. But now you're safe to go in!" she says, grinning smugly and bouncing off, dragging the empty leash behind her as Kevin looks at Macy. He wants to laugh, but the kid's got a heck of a swing to her.
"Oh my gosh, Kevin, I am so sorry about that. She thinks she's like the protector of our house and...I am so sorry,"
"It's cool," he says with a laugh, straightening up and wrapping Macy into a hug, laughing when Nora's shout of how nasty that is rings across the yard. Kevin grins and shrugs as they walk inside, the cool air a blessed relief as Macy leans up and kisses him lightly.
"Want something to drink?" she says, arms around his waist as he rubs their noses together lightly.
"Water's good. Demi's going to kill us, though, I'm pretty sure. So say your goodbyes," he says, drawing a soft giggle out of Macy as they walk through the kitchen, a bottle of water getting pressed into Kevin's hand.
"What's she having you do?"
"Ugh. What ISN'T she having us do? I had to hold Selena up in the air for five minutes today. Selena's tiny, yes, but when you're holding her by her feet up in the air, she gets a lot heavier. Please don't repeat that to anyone," he says, grinning when she giggles more, pecking his cheek as he takes a swig of the water.
"Poor thing. C'mon, we'll go up to my room and you can just veg out and stuff. Deal?"
"That....sounds perfect," he says, following her up to her room, grinning a little as he watches her ahead of him. He can't help it, it's like he's supposed to or something. She has to wear skirts all the time at school, so he's used to seeing her legs, but getting to see her in jeans is it's own kind of treat. They're tight and worn and he can't help but think he'd really like to see her in them more.
Kevin feels like a perv.
"Kevin," she says as he looks up and blushes, feeling his cheeks burn as she giggles, blushing a little bit herself.
"Um. Oops?"
Macy giggles some more, sound pleased as they walk through the door to her room. Kevin still feels weird for having been staring at her in jeans, but he has the feeling that Macy doesn't exactly mind. Her room looks different, but he can't really place what it is, except for the fact that her desk has a massive amount of papers pinned around it. He looks over the sketches, noticing how they've changed and on the desk is the sculpture.
"Oh man, that's awesome!" he says, looking back at her with a big grin. It's the polar bears and it is probably the cutest thing he's ever seen. One is on top of the rock, while the other sits below, looking up and he can see where she's going with it.
"Really?" she says, biting her lip as she comes up beside of him. He wants to pick up the sculpture, but he's pretty sure that would be a bad idea. But it's so cute.
"Yeah! It's adorable, Macy. How do you keep it from drying out?"
"Damp cloth hanging over it, storing it close to my lamp so it says warm and moist. I've gotta finish up the fur and I'm gonna kind of texture the rocks some more, so it looks better,"
"It looks fantastic," he says, smiling widely as her grin brightens. He watches her for a minute, her hands dragging a ponytail holder from around her wrist to pull her hair back, a lock escaping that he can't help but curl around his finger lightly. She smiles up at him, eyes bright and gorgeous. He swallows a little, pushing the piece of hair back behind her ear, letting his finger linger for a minute. Macy's watching him, intent and still smiling as she starts biting her bottom lip, a habit that distracts him more often than not.
"Did...you hear? That um. Van Dyke asked Stella to Homecoming?"
"I didn't. Joe's gonna be mad,"
"You snooze, you lose," she says, as he smiles a little, feeling his heartbeat speed up with nerves as he licks his lips, thinking about it.
"I um. I want to take you to Homecoming," he says, finally, seeing her eyes light up and she giggles, nodding happily and wrapping her arms around his neck. Kevin kind of loves when she does that.
"Good. 'Cause I really want you to take me to Homecoming," she says, giggling more as he grins widely, hugging her to him and she surprises him them. Macy leans up, kissing him firmly and he really can bring himself to do nothing more than kiss her back, sighing happily into it. She's standing on her tip-toes, kissing him slowly and teasingly, and it's really kind of killing him.
She's warm and soft against him, pressing closer as her hands slide into his hair, curling and uncurling as her nails graze his scalp. He lightly sucks on her lower lip and hears the soft sound she tries to hide with a breath that he pulls back for. Her lips are red and slick, and he swallows reflexively, leaning in and kissing her again, hearing himself moan softly and it's startling, really.
His hands slide down, resting on her waist before sliding under her shirt, resting them on her lower back but enjoying the feel of warm skin anyways. She sighs, pulling back slowly and smiling shyly, eyes hazy and dark.
"Um. I. Do you want to sit down?" she asks, cheeks flushing more as he swallows hard, nodding slowly. It's all kind of surreal, if he thinks about it, because he's going over and sitting on her bed, kicking his shoes off as she settles beside of him. A giggle slips out of her after a moment as he arches his eyebrow.
"I really don't want to hurt you again," she says as he snorts, grinning a little sheepishly. He's blushing a little bit as he pulls her into his lap carefully. She shifts, and he groans, struggling not to just rub against her like he desperately wants to. Her cheeks heat up, her neck going bright red as he leans and lightly presses his lips to the flush of her neck.
"Just. Be careful and we're good," he says, murmuring it close to her ear, almost marveling at the way goosebumps pop up immediately.
"I'll show you careful," she says, giggling softly as he snickers, sitting back a bit to press their lips together, kissing for a long moment before her hands slide from his shoulders and neck to his chest. His hands slide under her shirt again, and he slides his hands up her back just a little bit and then back down, not daring to do much else. The main thing is that Kevin doesn't want to freak her out, but he wonders if he's okay when she pushes her hands under his shirt.
Kevin shifts, gasping out a moan as she shifts with him. Macy pulls back, watching him with wide eyes.
"Good?" she says, expression worried as he laughs a little thickly. He kisses her lips lightly before nodding.
"Yeah. Good. Um. Really good," he says, feeling a blush start over his cheeks as Macy blinks and her eyes go wide. There's a nervous giggle hiding behind her eyes as he gives her a sheepish smile, blushing. He's actually kind of mortified but at the same time, kind of really into it. He'd be an idiot not to be.
"Oh. Um. So," Macy's stuttering a little, blushing and trying not to giggle. Her hands slide along his chest lightly as he shivers hard, watching her intently.
"It's...it's okay," he says, hoping to reassure her as she nods and bites her lip before kissing him quickly.
"Can. Um. I don't," she says, trying again as he gently pulls his hands out of her shirt, reaching up and tugging her ponytail down. He combs through her hair and smiles a little, feeling embarrassed but concerned all at once.
"Just me,"
"Yeah, I know," she says, a giggle exploding from her lips as he grins a little, kissing her softly, feeling the tension in her body relax as they kiss lazily. It's his favorite thing about Macy, the way that they can kiss slowly and comfortably, but not ever feeling like one's rushing the other.
She pulls back, a happy smile on her face as she shyly clears her throat before speaking. "Can..um. Can I see you...without your shirt?" she says, face exploding into a riot of bright red as he chokes a little. Of all the things he thought he'd hear, that wasn't one of them.
"Um. I...yeah," he says hoarsely, wondering how exactly this is his life. He shifts forward a little and bites back the groan as he's pressed against Macy even more firmly. Kevin pulls his shirt off, tossing it beside the bed and leaning back and hearing Macy squeak a little.
"Do. Um. Do you want me to return the favor?" she asks, blinking as he watches her eyes slide over his chest. Honestly, he wants nothing more, but he's not going to tell her that.
"Don't..um. Don't return the favor if you don't want to, Macy. Just...I want you to be comfortable," he says, feeling his fingers itch to slide under her shirt as she shakily exhales. He kisses her then, lightly, letting his lips linger as she sighs softly.
"I'm nervous. Like, really nervous, more than just babbly nervous. I don't know if this is a good thing or not, but like, just so you know, I'm pretty nervous,"
Kevin kisses her softly, pulling her close, heart thumping wildly as he leans back with her. He can feel her heartbeat thrumming frantically as she pulls back, watching him. Her hands are shaky as she tugs her shirt up and over her head. Kevin really would love to say he does something more than groan in delight and appreciation, but he would be a liar.
"I don't...want to pressure you," he says, feeling like he's struggling to talk through molasses as he fights for where to put his hands. Because she's wearing a bright yellow bra with blue trim and it looks amazing against her tan skin. There's a cluster of freckles near her belly button that he wants to touch and more, and he's dying, but he's so terrified of pressuring her.
"Just...kiss me," she says, swallowing hard, cheeks flushed as he sits up and kisses her firmly, sliding his hands over her stomach and sides, touching the heated skin with cool fingers, feeling her stomach suck in as she gasps. Her hands are all over his back as they kiss, touching and he never thought he'd be this lucky to be making out with someone like Macy. He never really even gave thought to it until now.
His hands graze the band over her bra and she makes a noise, pressing her chest against him and unconsciously rocking her hips. Kevin groans, pulling back and breathing hard through his nose.
Logically, he knows he should stop them. He really should. He...really...should. Except for how she's watching him and rocking her hips experimentally and he's groaning again, tilting his head back.
"Macy...I. Oh god," he says, whimpering as she blinks and bites her lip, looking at him questioningly. He groans a little, leaning up and kissing her lightly.
"That's...um. Very good. Very, very, very good. Just...how far do you want this to go?" and he's nervous and so very hard that he thinks he could probably pass out right then and there. She licks her lips and it's all he can focus on for a few seconds.
"I don't know. I'm...comfy right now," she says, saying it like it's a question and he smiles at her, sliding a hand along her stomach, barely grazing the edges of her bra as she blushes. He thinks she's gorgeous and tells her so, kissing her softly. Kevin trails his lips down, sucking lightly on her neck as she gasps, voice breathy as she says his name.
He can't help the way his lips keep sliding across her neck, kissing softly at the skin behind her ear, feeling her shiver hard. Kevin kisses along the line of her neck, nipping lightly, playfully as she whimpers, his tongue slipping out to taste the skin of her neck.
"Kevin," she says, voice throaty as he pulls back and moans at the way she's watching him. Her pupils are huge, eyes dark as she returns the favor, kissing along his neck, sucking lightly. Her lips close over his pulse point, his groan echoing through the room.
"Macy. I'm..oh god," he says, feeling like an idiot and feeling supremely embarrassed as she sits up, blinking a little before he kisses her.
"You're what?"
"Um. I....need to go the bathroom," he settles for finally, trying not to die with embarrassment as she nods slowly, face flaring up as Macy slowly rocks her hips against his.
"You, um. You don't have to, Kevin," she says finally, reaching up and playing with some of her hair as he groans thickly.
"Macy, I....um. I'm really...close," he says, closing his eyes as he actually hears her swallow thickly. She leans into him, kissing his lips softly as she rests their foreheads together, her hands bracing on his chest carefully.
"That's okay. I...Kevin, I want to,"
"I...I...um. Are you sure?"
He's struggling for words, to be perfectly honest, unable to comprehend that she wants to do this for him. Macy laughs softly, smiling at him and kissing him softly, rocking her hips against him in slow, measure movements. Kevin groans, shuddering hard as he arches up against her, pulling back to gasp hard, choking out a littany of words that he knows includes her name.
Kevin shivers hard, panting for air as he slumps back against the headboard, blushing brightly. Macy's eyes are wide and her cheeks are flushed even more, but she leans her chest against his, comfortably.
"You're...amazing," he says finally, eyes prying open to comb through her hair gently, hand cupping her face. Macy flashes a grin, leaning into the hand and snuggling closer.
"You're not so bad yourself, Lucas,"
Kevin laughs, kissing her softly before climbing up, blushing a little as he struggles not to make a face.
"Um. Bathroom?"
"Down the hall, to the left," she says, giggling as she watches him walk off. He cleans up as best he can, looking in the mirror and he can't believe that he actually just had that happen to him. When he walks back out, she's tugged his shirt on over her bra and is sitting at her desk, working on the sculpture.
She's grinning and her face has a light sheen of sweat as he walks up to sit beside of her. He wonders if he was an idiot for not offering to help her out, because he's read things, okay? Kevin totally knows he should be courteous about things like that, but he couldn't exactly get his brain to work before, so he figures asking now is the best way to go about it.
"Do you...need. Um. Need anything?" he asks, seeing her duck her head and grin at him, eyes sparkling and bright.
"I'm good," says Macy, giggling as he blinks and breaks out into a wide grin. She kisses him and he grins against her lips, unable to help himself.
They pull back and Kevin settles in to work on his homework and watch her work on the sculpture, unable to keep a grin off his face.
Kevin thinks that kissing Macy that first time was his best idea yet.
YOU GUYS. This was so hard. But so worth it.
This is the 4th part in the series of Kevin/Macy (if you've got a title for it, hit me with it. No, seriously, LOL)
