I am so proud of this. Like, ridiculously proud of myself for taking this shot. It was just a random one, and...look.

I've been thinking about pimping out a few of my deviations from DA.com, and I think that I'm starting with that one.

I'm reccing two more of my own personal deviations that I'm proud of and would like people's opinions on. I'm thinking about putting together a bit of a portfolio, so I need input, but at heart, I'm a review/comment whore, really. *shrug*

This one ^^ is from Downtown Concord, which is sort of our historical district. It's a beautiful place, and that hotel actually used to be a set of apartments. If I'm correct, one of them was actually my Grandmother's first place by herself, so that's very cool to me. I took this one and put it into Photoshop with using the Film Grain filter, and altered the colors. I'm really proud of how it came out.

This was actually taken last year, when the tulips were in full bloom in a place called Memorial Gardens. It's actually part of a giant, historical graveyard, and interestingly enough, there's actually a grave of a man who was trampled by an elephant in there. (Yay, random info, LOL)

Christy and I both have ancestors buried in there, but fuck if we know where to find them, LMAO



I'm especially proud of these three, because they actually evoke something from me, some sort of attachment that I've had to some photos before, but not a lot of them. I think that's what's stopped me from feeling so confident about my own photography, so I'm happy to be at the point of pimping myself out finally. :-)
