Halloween, Insanity, and Conversions
*Le sigh* I didn't have to babysit for Halloween which was a good thing. But I missed not getting to see my little brothers. 
well....they're more like step-brothers *shrugs* semantics. They're so darling, it's not even funny.
Since I didn't get to babysit/see the twins (Michael and Wesley) their mother actually brought them by my house today!
I was totally shocked, enough so that I didn't get any pictures (Which is a good thing cause I looked awful) but I did get to spend some time with them. Their mother isn't fond of me, she thinks that I'm a bad influence because god forbid I treat them like they're 8 years old instead of 3. *rolls eyes*
The boys are amazingly smart. (No i'm not saying that cause they're my brothers.)Michael can read and understand and discuss all of the Harry Potter books. Including book 6 that I had to read twice before I could do that. He doesn't get to talk about it alot cause his mom doesn't read them and I'm pretty much the only one who does.
Wesley is a math genius. 8 years old and he can divide and everything. As in long division. But at their mom's house they play favorites. Especially since Wesley resembles his dad. Which means that Michael gets left out. And I feel awful so anytime they're around I try to cuddle Michael a little more.
But it works out cause Wes doesn't really like to be cuddled and hugged and Michael does. So I held Michael for a little bit while we talked about the ending of Book six in Harry Potter. And when he was done being cuddled Wesley came over and actually got in my lap! He told me that they had to write a few sentences on their favorite person in school.
Wesley chose me...*melt* He told me that he wrote I was his favorite person cause I love him and he loves me. I'm very tall and I like to play with him and his brother. He loves me because I'm his sister and I like the things he likes.
He likes pictures. So I sat with him and Michael on my lap and showed him some of the pictures I've taken, pictures of me....and pictures of GnR and Maiden. I also let them see some videos I have downloaded *is grinning like an idiot* Wesley's curious about Axl. And Michael...my little blonde brother is fascinated by one....Nicko McBrain.
I think I was the happiest person in the world, but they had to leave after staying only like 20 or 30 minutes. So that sucked a bit, but they seriously just made me feel like the most loved person---almost (keyword right there) made me want children of my own.
So preparations for Rockfic Asheville (T-9 as of right now) are underway at my house. We've gotta find someone to stay with our doggy as our cat is pretty much self-sufficient *snorts* I'm so fucking excited that it isn't funny, even though I do wish those of you who can't come could! *cries*
I'm currently trying to find all my sweaters and everything cause I tend to stay cold. Gah. LOL
In latest news....I'm blaming Lia today for my recent conversion to Helloween, Gamma Ray, and Sonata Artica. *Grin* Oh what great bands! I'm completely and absolutely joining Lia in the Weiki fanclub man. Although Markus is right up there too. And Andi...fuck it...I love them all!
On other conversion notes I've brought one to the dark side. :-D My friend....likes Leppard slash. *grins* In April she's gonna join up on Rockfic hehehehehe...she's already writing *fangirl squeal with a proud look*
I've recently come across this Finnish band called Negative; they're a bit H.I.M. like only better. And prettier. And slashier. Oh....yeah...much slashier....*drools* One of the guitarists could be Slash's kid. Slightly creepy, but he's fine as hell. Want pics? *grins*

More good news---Helloween bunny nearly done, Bruce muse is cooperating finally, and I'm having scenes fly at me and they're amazingly all fitting together.
