Do you know what I want, f-list? I want long, plotty, gorgeous fic for a band other than MCR.

Sooooo. Anyone have any recs?

Most of you know what bands I read/won't read, but just in case:

Anything with Fall Out Boy, Cobra Starship, The Academy Is..., Empires (if there's some I've missed OMFG GIMME), Panic! At The Disco, uhh...I think that's a pretty decent pool.

As far as pairings, I will pretty much read everything.

IDK, recommend me stuff! If I like it a lot, you might get a little something in return? :-) :-)

There are so many good fics out there. AND THEY ARE ALL MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE.

Don't get me wrong, I love MCR, but they are not exactly who I wanna read the millionth fic about.

Also, I like multi-band AUs!

see I would totally rec you FBI Verse because it's 52K all together...but it's not exactly happy

Then there's A Dimming Bright Hope Brims and Foams (http://doctor-jasley.dreamwidth.org/10931.html) it's Brendon/Spencer and only 14k but that's all I can think

It's always the SAME Saint Gerard characterization, the SAME manic happy thoughtful sweet precious wittle guy Frank, the SAME gruffly sweet Bob, the SAME all-around decent guy with zero character Ray, and the thoughtful meticulous Gerard worshipping Mikey. ALWAYS. With very few exceptions. (Fandom, can we get over Gee Way being a saint? Please? He's a good dude, and I like him, don't get me wrong, but JESUS.)

And gimme anyways. I don't care if it's happy or sad, I just want to read something I don't already have memorized.

Uh, could I possibly know which fics feature the embarrassment warning? I have a huge embarrassment squick like you wouldn't believe.

Also, I hate to ask too...but which fics do I not read to avoid the domestic abuse and rape/recovery.

yeah totally understandable...the first one is embarrassment

domestic abuse is Fractured Smiles and Empty Laughter

rape/recovery is Vanish the Thought

sorry for all of the really bad prompts in there but now I'm glad I listed all of the prompts so people would know(I'm trying to think if there's others that might allude to what's in those three. I know the first one doesn't come up again and I don't think anything's heavily mentioned but needless to say everyone in FBI Verse has rocky pasts so there might be passing mention of them being fucked up but I don't think anything that would actually come out and mention what those second two have in them)

it's ok I do understand.....when I signed up for h/c bingo I used my requests on other things I knew I couldn't write without being all*shudders and hides* and then I ended up with the domestic abuse and rape squares(I did my best to not be detailed but still those were some of the harder ones to write)

also that's why I have a masterlist(so people can do what you have just in case and ask and I can navigate them around)

also I totally understand that. It really is that same in rote characterization.I try hard not to completely fall into that I might kind of fail at times but I try

though I have to say I write Frank with somewhat more of a bite. This is way short but Shades of Grey (http://doctor-jasley.dreamwidth.org/56807.html) is 40's noir au with Brendon and Frank as city detectives
